Candy has been a dental hygienist with Dr. Lewis since 1992! The past 10 years have been here with Shallowford Family Dental Group. She values the relationships she has developed over the years with her patients and continually strives to meet their dental needs.
When asked about what she likes about being here, Candy says, "I am proud of the quality of care that we provide our patients and the camaraderie of the staff which makes work fun!"
Life outside the office is filled with family, friends, gardening and walking. She especially loves spending time spoiling her grandson, Devin.
Sally joined our team after graduating hygiene school with honors in 2004. She brings with her a positive and upbeat personality. Sally loves building a great relationship with her patients while helping them to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. She enjoys patients of all ages.
"The professionalism of our staff and the relaxed environment we create is what I like best about our office. We are always continuing our education to stay on the cutting edge," says Sally.
Away from work, Sally loves on her dogs and enjoys camping, hiking and hanging out with friends!
Amanda moved from Flint, Michigan to Chattanooga in 2013, and joined SFDG April of 2014. She is passionate about her patient relationships and is dedicated to educating them about their proper oral health. She graduated from Mott Community College (Flint, MI) and was president of her class.
She is very athletic so when she is away from the office it is likely she is weight lifting, hiking or running. She lives in a "tiny house" and loves to cuddle with her terrier, Sophia!
Nicole is a native of Cleveland, TN, where she practiced as a dental assistant for eight years. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Hiwassee College in May of 2014. While attending Hiwassee, she received the Golden Scaler and Academic Award for her scholastic achievements in the program.
She values building trust and strong patient relationships. She believes that is obtained by listening to the needs of her patients and providing the necessary tools to live a healthier life. She has a passion for all ages and volunteering in the community.
In her free time, Nicole spends time with her family, friends and two dogs. She also enjoys traveling, eating delicious food and singing!
Laura moved from Dayton, Ohio to Chattanooga in 2015 where she practiced as a hygienist since 2011. She attended Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) where she earned degrees in Accounting, Marketing and Spanish. Her path to dental hygiene was slightly non-traditional. After working as an auditor for a large accounting firm, she felt she needed to pursue her childhood dreams of working in the dental field and returned to school to become a dental hygienist.
Laura loves working as a hygienist and enjoys building relationships with her patients and helping them to achieve their oral health goals.
In her spare time . . she enjoys spending time with her husband, Don, and their children. She also enjoys traveling, time with friends, cooking, decorating her house and reading.
Christina has been a practicing dental hygienist since 2006. She attended and obtained her bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from East Tennessee State University. She enjoys several aspects of dental hygiene but what she enjoys the most is the connection that she makes with her patients through dental hygiene.
Christina lives in Ooltewah with her husband, Jeremy, and their son, Jayce. She enjoys spending time with her family and remodeling houses.
Hannah joined the team at Shallowford Family Dental Group as the Hygiene Coordinator/RDA in July of 2016. She is a Chattanooga State graduate with an AAS Dental Assisting Certification. She is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Chattanooga Area Dental Assisting Society. She is also a member of the American Dental Assistants Association.

and respected practice. It is the perfect environment to grow in my career
and gain lasting friendships."
Hannah lives in North Georgia. She has two dogs and supports foundations,
such as ASPCA, that helps rescues animals. She loves to volunteer at her
church and in the community. Hannah spends most of her free time doing
arts and crafts.
